At the Cottage

Ahhh, how good it was to be on vacation!! We spent last week with my parents at their cottage on Chesley lake for our summer vacation! It was a nice relaxing week!
On Monday Eric and I went to town and went to a used bookstore. The owner has a list of books that we are looking for and he had found a lot of them! So we splurged and bought the books to complete my Nancy Drew series, and 6 more John Grisham hard covers! We also picked up a couple of other books too! Great fun!
Eric also did a lot of golfing with my Dad, he had a great time learning more about the sport!
We also spent a lot of time just relaxing by the water. Aidan just loved to be outside and that was when he was his happiest! We also did some skiing, kneeboarding and tubing. I had one nasty wipeout on the tube which I am still feeling the effects from!!( added to the effects of falling 7 times tryng to get up on skis!) I also spent a lot of time just relaxing in the hammock and reading!
Aidan spent his days sleeping, playing in his pack and play, playing in his pool, playing, playing, and playing. His Grandma and Grandpa spoiled him with attention while we were there! He loved it!
On Thursday night we took my parents out for dinner to a cute restaurant in SouthHampton. It had a second level covered porch that you can eat on and that's where we sat! It was a vary tasty meal!
Also while we were at the cottage Aidan learned how to stand by himself!! One day he just pulled himself up on me (I was sitting beside him on the ground) and then he let go of me and just stood there grinning from ear to ear! Then he would lock eyes with me and just leap on me! It was so cute!
We had a great week! Thanks to my Mom and Dad for letting us stay up there with you for a week!
