Canada Day

On Canada Day we decided to go to Long Point Beach with some friends. So Arron and Laura, Ken and Shauna, and us packed up all our stuff and all our babies, and all their stuff and headed to the beach. I'd say most of the stuff we brought belonged to the babies though! When we got there we found a spot and started to set up. Ken brought a screen tent so that Kate could be out of the wind and sun. The three guys started to set it up...in the wind....which was very funny to watch! But they did manage to get it set up!
This was Aidan's first big day day at the beach! It was windy day and the waves were HUGE! If you just walked close to the water holding Aidan, he would start to cry. The waves were a whole new experience for him! Declan did not like the waves either! So both boys were contented just to play on the beach. Declan was so sandy that I think he took half of the beach home with him! But boy did he have fun! Aidan stayed a little cleaner, he wasn't too sure about the sand yet so he played in his pack and play and on a blanket.
On our way home we stopped at a little restaurant for dinner. The food was ok, but nothing spectacular.
Then we took our tired babies, and ourselves home! All in all we had a great day at the beach!
