House and Family update

People have been asking me for another update, so here it goes!
Eric has been working very hard on our house these last few weeks....and here it is!

Just kidding. That's just a house that we looked at to help us pick brick! Eric has been putting in long hours framing though, and now framing is done! Windows were installed today, and all the plumbing and electrical have been roughed in! This week Eric's parents and my brother in law are going to do the insulation...then next week it should be ready for drywall!! Last Saturday we had a bunch of people come and help with the shingling. It's coming along great and we are excited for when it will be done! Here are some pictures of the progress!

Anna is now 8 and a half months old. I think that she gets cuter everyday....but I'm biased! She now weighs about 18 1/2 pounds and is about 27 1/2 inches long. She like to yell a lot to get the attention of others. She also loves it when her Daddy gets home! She kicks and screams until he comes to pick her up! It's very cute! She still loves her brother and just loves to watch him play. He also loves to make her laugh and talks to her all the time! " Watch me Anna!" Anna is also getting very close to crawling...she tries so hard! Her chubby little pointer finger is being used a lot lately too, as she uses it to explore everything, it's very cute! She also is pretty good at crawling backwards across the house, although she frequently gets stuck!

Look at her chubby cheeks :)

Trying to crawl.

That cute little finger!
Help Mommy! I'm stuck!

She loves to ride in the laundry basket!

She like to play in her pack and play....and lick it apparently!

A couple weeks ago we went to Ottawa for the weekend, and the kids and I actually caught a ride up early. We had a great visit and the kids got along really well! While we were there we also got to meet Chris and Charlene's new baby girl, Helena.

Two weekends ago we went up to Warkwarth for the annual Maple Syrup festival. It was just my Mom, Mel, my grandparents, and my kids and I. Dad and Eric stayed home to work on our house, and Kevin had some family to see. It was freezing rain so we never made it to the sugar bush this year,. But we still had a delicious breakfast at Jeanine's downtown. We also had a chance to browse the shops and show off the kids to everyone. Aidan had a blast walking all our town with my grandpa. I told Aidan that he was his great Grandpa, and he always exchanges great for big, so he became big grandpa! It was very cute!

We also had my friend from Cobourg, Linda and her two kids, Luca and Sophia come for a night. Luca and Aidan were happy to see each other again and had a good time playing!

Aidan is potty training right now, and it's actually going pretty good! I think he'll be fully trained in a week or two! He's enjoying the chocolate chip reward the most I think!

That's all for now!
