Decks, Sod and Swimming, and cute kids

Well, we started to work on the deck in the backyard. It's great to have a plave to sit even though right now only half of the deck boards are on! Aidan likes to help, but he still scared of most of Eric's tools.

Here Eric is teaching Aidan how to walk on wood like a framer!




Here you can see that we now have most of the sod in our backyard . They had to leave a bit off the top so that they can get through to the next lot to deliver and lay their sod. It was done on Saturday, and today we should be getting the front done. In this picture you can also kinda see how Eric is laying the deck boards on a 45. It's a lot of extra work for Eric but it should look neat when it's done!

Anna has learned to pull herself up a lot more frequently now! Even in her pack n play. She is quite proud.

Mean Mommy! ( I learned it from my parents who covered Aidan with cheerios when he was this age when I left them to babysit :)
Anna just loves her baths.....especially splashing!

We pumped up the kids pool and put it on the deck that is finsihed. They had lots of fun in it. Unfortunately, it keeps losing air, so they can't stay in too long and I have to keep pumping it up. I think it's time to throw it out and buy a new one!.


Aidan likes to pretend that he has angry eyes...this is a picture of him doing that...he's too funny.
Anna loves to splash in the pool too!


This is the view that we had at 7:30 this morning. Aidan of course was tickled pink to watch!
He spent on hour standing at our window watching the 'gigger' as he calls it!
