Christmas trees, cookies, and more

Well everyone, I unloaded my camera again...so that means that it's time for another update!

Eric's finger is healing really well. He has not had a lot of pain at all which is really great. It only hurts when it gets too cold, which is a good warning for him to go warm it up to make sure that it doesn't get frostbite. He is down to just a fingertip bandaid on it now which is much easier for him to work with.
Shauna still has not had her baby, which is good. She did however spend yesterday in the hospital again in labour, or so they thought. She was not dilating so they sent her home.
We have had not a lot of fun around here the last week. Eric had the flu too, right after his surgery. Anna has had a nasty virus, and Aidan has it now too. Aidan's is croupy and he has had a couple 'episodes' as they call them, where he can't breathe. So far we have managed to stay out of the ER!

This is my wonderful husband being a goof while playing games with Aidan! Our kids are so lucky to have a father like him!



On December 1st we went out to a Christmas tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree. Here is a picture of us all bundled up. It was chilly that morning!


Eric had to use a saws all to cut it down, as he only had one good hand at the time to do it.

Anna was very unimpressed to be put down in her snowsuit so she was crying and Aidan was consoling her by putting his arm around her. It was cute!



Anna sure is Daddy's little girl!


Time to decorate! Both kids had lots of fun helping out!


Anna was tickled pink with the Christmas stuffies that came out with the decorations! Especially the moose that sings!

Eric had the great idea to hang our stockings off the railing. They look great there!


On the 2nd we had our first snow storm. Eric took Aidan GTing in the back yard. He wasn't all that thrilled with it though. He would much rather dig with his shovel and use his dumptrucks.

Eric went and got the reachmachine from work to clear the driveway. Great idea hun!



Here's my sick little girl. This is quite something for her to just lie there as she is normally go go go.


Santa came to our house last Saturday to make his first drop into our stockings. The kids were thrilled with their Dora and Deigo plates!



Christmas Cookie time! Last saturday we made shortbread cookies as a family. The kids both had a lot of fun helping to cut the shapes out and putting sprinkles on them!





Here is Anna still not feeling well and actually lying down on Eric! He was thrilled!

Aidan finding an interested use for one of the Christmas presents from his friends. It's supposed to be for toys, but he thought that it was perfect to crawl into!
