This past Monday I registered my little guy for Juniour Kindergarten! I can't believe that in September, my little guy will be going to school already!
We showed up first thing on Monday morning and met our friends Laura and Declan there. Aidan acted as he normally does in a new situation...shy. But he shows that by being ornery. So he refused to wear his crown that they made for him and get his picture taken. But as I was filling out forms, I guess that he decided that he was settled in and announced that he was ready for his crown and his picture! I was shocked but went with it!
After we were done all the forms we got to have a tour of the school. I explained to Aidan that morning that we were just going to look at the school and that it wasn't time for him to go yet. Our first stop was the kindergarten classrooms. He got to meet Michaela's (his cousin's) teacher which he thought was neat. He was thrilled as he walked around and saw toys, and painting, and a sensory bin with GREEN sand. He was ready to get right in there and start to play! He was rather upset when I tried to explain to him that we were just looking and visiting today. Then we toured some more of the school. We saw the library, and there was a colourful carpet and big pillows to read books on there. Aidan thought that it looked rather nice, and that he wanted to sign out some books to read right now! So again I had to explain that we were just visiting. Soon after that we were done. We started to head for the door to go to the car, and Aidan lost it. He was so upset that we were not staying to play! Hopefully he will be that excited to go in September! I'm not sure who will cry harder when he goes, me or him!

Baby Timmy got a bad cold and he is at Mac now. I don't know any other details...sorry!
