Here are the kids at the park near our house. This year Aidan is no longer afraid of the slides! And I'm so happy for him that he realized how much fun they are! Anna loves to run up and down this ramp. I tried her in the swing, and the first time she was scared and wanted out. But I tried her again at home and now she is loving it! Aidan still refuses to go on the swings.
Here are the after shots of our basement I promised you! Unfortunately, it is not always this clean as the kids play so much down here!
This is my piano's new home, it's the first thing that you see when you come downstairs. They had to bring it down with no equipment due to a mistake in the stairs.....getting it out is possible, but it's going to be hard!!
I'm standing in front of the piano, facing out to the east.
Here is the same way, next wall. The first set of doors is our locked toy closet where I keep the toys I rotate, then there is a door for the unfinished bedroom, the a door for an unfinished bathroom!
Now I am standing on the opposite side facing the stairs.

This is the kids favorite part about the basement! The playhouse under the stairs!
Spring also has us outside teaching Aidan to ride his two wheeler. He's a little unsure of himself so we are going to keep working on it to build up his confidence. It's hard to teach him because our road is a hill!
Anna is eager to learn the tricycle, but she's still a little short!
On April 5th we celebrated Eric's Uncle George's 80th birthday!! He's the one in the blue shirt!
We are spending a lot of time in our backyard too. The kids are loving the sandbox!!

Eric's up to his antics again and put Anna's hair clips in his hair!
This is Anna's first time getting into trouble with the toilet paper! Good thing I caught her before she flushed and the second half of the roll ended up in the toilet too!
As spring comes we also get the sunset back in our backyard! We can't see it there in the winter! I just love the picture that God paints for us each sunny evening!

nice pictures Becky! As for the toilet paper.. my kids love getting into trouble doing that too.. flush it and see how much of the roll goes down type thing....

Your basement is FABULOUS!! What a great place for the kids and their friends to play.
My kids are the same way about the swing this year! I took them to the park a couple weeks ago and they wanted nothing to do with it. I've tried again and all I get is crying. So I picked one up at the JCCS sale for our tree in the front yard and I'm slowly getting a few minutes out of them at a time. We'll see if we can transition to the park eventually:) It would be nice if I could keep them all contained for a while longer. I'm sure you can imagine that the park is a forboding place for me!:)
