We went to Sandbanks Provincial Park near Belleville. This year we had 12 adults and 4 kids along! It's funny to see how things change! This camping trip started out as dating couples, then engaged couples, then married couples, then couples with kids! You can really see that we are all growing up!
We had awesome weather! It was warm during the day, cool at night, and we had no rain! The kids all had a great time although Derek wasn't too sure about being outside all the time. We spent our mornings on the campsite and our afternoons on the beach. On Saturday Ken and Eric decided to launch the boat, but that turned out to be quite the adventure! The '10 minute boatride' that the camp claimed was actually at least an hour, and the waves were sometimes up to 12 feet high! Eric and Ken were actually wearing their life jackets which can tell you something about how rough the water was! Declan loved the beach and had a great time playing in the water and the waves, while Aidan stayed on his blanket and Kate and Derek stayed in the dining tent out of the wind.
Declan and Aidan were having fun together, Declan even thought that Aidan was a horse and tried to ride him while he was crawling! It's neat to have a weekend like this so that they can get to know each other better! Declan also loves Kate "te" as he calls her and he always had to go and give her kisses!

Despite some VERY rude and obnoxious neighbor's we all had a great time!
