Well we spent the weekend away up in Warkworth for the
Maple Syrup Festival and visiting with my Grandparents, parents, and my Aunt Lynda and Uncle Al. On Saturday morning we woke up to the sunshine and blue skies! It was a beautiful day and it actually got up to 28 degrees in the sun on the deck that looked over the ravine. Around 9:30 we headed downtown to catch the bus to go to the Sugarbush.

There we had a yummy breakfast of pancakes, sausages, and fresh Maple Syrup!! It was very good! After breakfast we walked around the bush for a while and then headed back to the bus to go back downtown. There we looked at some crafts and went to the petting zoo!

Aidan especially loved to pat the bunny's and ride on the pony. He rode it like a pro hanging on with one hand and the other in the air like a cowboy!

After that we went back to the house for some much needed naps (for Aidan and I) After naps Eric, my dad and Aidan went into Cambleford for some ice cream. I here Aidan made quite the mess! I stayed behind and played games with my Aunt and Mother. We played a game called Kings Crib ( I think that was what it was called) It's a cross between crib and scrabble...very cool!
That evening we just played some more games and headed home after breakfast on Sunday morning.
It was a fun weekend!
