Labour Day Weekend Camping

We spent this past weekend at Pinery Provincial Park with a total of 13 adults and 6 children. We had 3 awesome sites. Our 'main' site was huge and perfect for that many people! And below you can see the big sandbox as the kids called it. It was a volleyball court with no net that was just perfect for the kids and right next to our sites! We had awesome weather and not a drop of rain, which I think is the first time ever in the 8 years that we have been doing this! We had a great time and I hope that everyone else did too!

At the beach. We were so close to the beach too. The only problem was taking all our stuff and the bike trailer on the boardwalk over the dunes everytime. Anna had lots of fun playing in the sand. She doesn't mind to be dirty.


The first day at the beach she didn't want to crawl on the sand so she crawled like this! On her hands and feet!. By the last day she was all over the sand though.

They decided that the big driftwood tree just HAD to be in the lake! It was very humerous to watch!

Sunday night we went for a walk on the Riverside trail. Here we are stopped looking at the river.

On the way back from the walk we stopped at one of the day beaches to catch a sunset. It was beautiful! Aidan now thinks that the sun sleeps in the lake!

What a great weekend! Now for all the laundry.....and cleaning up all the camping stuff!
